Reduction of Property Tax Instalments

Effective 2023, the Municipality of Greenstone will be reducing the number of property tax instalments from four (4) instalments per billing down to two (2) instalments per billing. Annual due dates moving forward will be the last business day February, April, July and September. Anyone currently enrolled in the instalment only pre-authorized payment plan will be affected by this change, and can choose to cancel your plan, or switch to an alternative payment plan. Credit Card Payments for Water&Sewer/Taxes

In our ongoing effort to reduce operating costs, the Municipality of Greenstone Council has decided to discontinue the current method of credit card payments for tax and water bills effective January 1, 2023. This includes both in person payments, as well as automatic monthly payment plans using credit cards.
